Inclusion Paradox Sighting: La Quinceañera on CNN Online

From CNN’s home page a link to their user generated site, I-Report for stories of that long standing tradition of the Quinceañera, the fifteenth birthday when the community celebrates a girl’s coming of age into womanhood. Some even say it’s like a wedding but without the groom.  The photos and testimonials in this special Latino in America feature are quintessential and they echo what it was like for us when our own daughter, Marisela, had hers just three years ago. But not all is tiaras and smiles. In one testimonial, a woman who had a horrific experience, expresses an alternative view. Mi Quinceañera.
