Safeway Honors 10,000 Employees with Disabilities, Cites Benefits of Tapping “Overlooked Talent Pool”
As the nation celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Safeway honored its nearly 10,000 employees with disabilities at a launch fundraising event for rehab services, autism programs, job training grants and the Special Olympics.
